a). When is PM Kisan 20th Installment date?

b). How to check PM Kisan Beneficiary Status?

c). What is PM Kisan Eligibility Criteria?

d). What is PM Kisan eKYC Process?

1. Official Release of the 20th Installment

On August 2, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially released the 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM‑Kisan) scheme from Varanasi. A staggering ₹20,500 crore was directly transferred to the bank accounts of nearly 9.7 crore eligible farmers across India.

This installment is part of the scheme’s commitment to provide ₹6,000 per year, credited in three equal installments via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

2. Who Is Eligible to Receive the 20th Installment?

Eligible beneficiaries under PM-Kisan include:

  • Indian citizens owning cultivable land

  • Not income taxpayer or government/pensioner with pension above ₹10,000

  • Must have completed Aadhaar-bank linkage and eKYC verification.

Farmers without a Farmer ID were still included in this 20th payout, but it will become mandatory for future disbursements.

3. How to Check If ₹2,000 Has Landed in Your Account

Farmers can verify payment status via the PM‑Kisan portal:

  1. Go to pmkisan.gov.in

  2. Navigate to ‘Farmer Corner’ → ‘Beneficiary Status’

  3. Enter Aadhaar, mobile number, or bank account number

  4. Click ‘Get Data’ to view if payment status shows Yes in eKYC, Aadhaar-Bank seeding and land seeding fields.

You will also receive an SMS alert on your registered mobile once the amount is credited.

4. eKYC Process (Mandatory!)

A completed eKYC is essential to get the installment. The government is running a strong awareness campaign against fake messages and misleading links — only rely on official methods.

Ways to complete eKYC:

  • OTP-Based eKYC (online via portal using Aadhaar and mobile OTP)

  • Biometric eKYC at Common Service Centers (CSCs) or State Seva Kendras

  • Face-Authentication eKYC using the PM‑Kisan mobile app + Aadhaar Face RD app.

Farmers can choose the easiest mode. Face-authentication and OTP-based methods are popular for their simplicity.

5. Facing Delays? Here’s Why

Payment may not be credited if any of the following are incomplete:

  • eKYC not done

  • Aadhaar and bank account mismatch

  • Incorrect bank or land record details

  • Missing land ownership proof or incorrect application.

If you still don’t receive the installment, call the Kisan Call Centre at 1800‑180‑1551.
